Hours : 40 per week
Rate of Pay : £12.75 per hour

A typical day in the life of a Restaurant Supervisor:

  • Assist with the smooth daily running of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of service and presentation at all times.

  • Host and manage the restaurant during private events, including small weddings and private functions, ensuring a personal and tailored service for guests.

  • Work closely with the Management team and other departments to coordinate service delivery and guest satisfaction.

  • Set up conference and event rooms to the required standards, ensuring full attention to detail and service readiness.

  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of all menu items, promotions, and hotel/spa facilities to support an informed and confident service.

  • Uphold brand standards within the conference and banqueting department, ensuring that all guest expectations are not only met but exceeded.

  • Promote sales and actively up-sell food and beverage items to maximise revenue and enhance the guest experience.

  • Support the day-to-day operational tasks, including cleaning schedules, stock rotation, health & safety checks, and compliance standards.

  • Serve behind the bar as required, delivering a friendly and efficient service in line with company standards.

  • Carry out other duties as required to ensure the smooth and professional running of the wider hospitality and spa offering, supporting the guest journey throughout the venue.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality management role, ideally in a restaurant or events setting.

  • A confident leader with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • A genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.

  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including COSHH, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

It would be desirable if you had a Food hygiene certification and a personal licence. It would also be advantageous if you had First Aid and Fire Safety certifications and had experience with hotel management software.
