As Spa Commercial Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind our spa packages and promotions from internal spa days and breaks to third-party offerings via Days & Breaks. This is a pivotal role where you’ll combine strategy, performance analysis, stakeholder management, and creativity to maximise revenue and elevate our spa experience across the UK.
You’ll work closely with Senior Spa Regionals, Marketing, and operational teams to ensure every package we offer is compelling, commercially sound, and aligned with our brand promise. Expect to travel across the UK, stay ahead of trends, and turn performance data into profit-driving insight.

A typical day in the life of a Spa Commercial Lead
Build and manage relationships with third-party partners, including occasional travel across the UK to support stakeholder engagement.
Lead and implement strategies to drive revenue across all Third Party and Internal Spa Day & Break packages, ensuring offers remain current, competitive, and relevant.
Monitor the performance of all packages, providing regular analysis and insight to the Senior Spa Regionals and Spa Regional Managers to support profitability.
Deliver actionable commercial insights by identifying business trends through performance data analysis.
Develop and share an annual promotional calendar for Internal Spa Days and Breaks in advance of the trading year to allow for effective business planning and communication.
Collaborate with Senior Spa Regionals and Marketing to produce a yearly promotional calendar for Spa Days and Breaks, aligned with broader marketing campaigns.
React quickly to shortfalls in revenue or occupancy by creating and deploying timely last-minute promotions.
Oversee the pricing, packaging, and promotion of all spa offerings, ensuring they are accurately reflected across the Spa Booking system and website before launch.
Provide regular KPI and sales performance reports, using Excel and other tools to present clear, impactful data and recommendations.
Collaborate with Spa and Hotel teams to align revenue goals with service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Support and optimise the use of spa booking and CRM systems.
Oversee the performance of the Spa Commercial Support function, ensuring all package information and updates are correctly communicated and reflected in Phorest.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of marketing requests and maintain high-quality promotional standards.
Liaise with Food & Beverage teams to ensure spa day menus meet guest expectations and offer strong value for money.
Regularly audit and maintain the accuracy of spa content across the company website and third-party platforms.
Work with Marketing to identify and capitalise on social media opportunities, ensuring content (including photos, videos, and reels) is engaging, up-to-date, and reflective of facilities.
Offer commercial solutions when trading performance is not in line with budget expectations.
Present quarterly performance updates to the Senior Spa Regionals.
What we are looking for:
A confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Commercially savvy with a proven ability to work independently and meet targets
Expert in Excel with the ability to handle and analyse large data sets
Sharp eye for detail and a love for numbers and trends
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel/stay overnight on occasion
It would be beneficial if you had experience in the spa, wellness, or hospitality industries, along with a familiarity with spa systems and customer journey mapping. It would also be advantageous if you had a strong understanding of spa treatments and package structures, along with previous experience in a commercial leadership role.
