Summary of main Purpose of the job 

An effective Customer & Legal Support candidate needs to be self motivated and must exhibit strong communication skills. They must also show a high attention to detail when constructing responses to both internal and external customers. 

You will be responsible for the management of customer interaction via social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). You will be trusted to reflect the company brand on highly visible social media platforms. 

As Customer & Legal Support you act as a specialised customer care team, responsible for handling a variety of complaints via multiple channels (including social media, email, phone and letter). 

In addition, you will also be responsible for reviewing the misconduct of customers/members; providing support to members and staff across The Bannatyne Group, liaising with staff to gather information, review evidence and deliver appropriate outcomes.

Finally, the role will involve an element of legal administration, which you will be asked to support with from time to time. 

Typical work activities include but are not limited to: 

● Monitoring company social media feeds, and responding to customer enquiries/complaints in a timely fashion. 

● Sourcing information from colleagues within the business, in order to construct appropriate responses to customer enquiries within a given timeframe. 

● Maintaining the expected response times for customers in order to achieve company Service Level Agreements. 

● Enhancing The Bannatyne Group’s brand image on social media by providing market leading customer service. 

● Handling customer complaints via social media, email, phone and letter. 

● Reviewing and handling GDPR requests. 

● Coordinating licence and tenancy agreements. 

● Liaising with the police regarding incidents. 

● Applying for licences. Any ad hoc tasks deemed appropriate for your ability and role.
