Job Title: Club B and Creche Supervisor
Salary: £12.30 per hour
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, weekends included
Location: Bannatyne Leeds
Summary of role:
You will be responsible for the delivery of welfare and fun. They will be responsible for providing experience in a high level crÿche facility with play and educational activities for children aged between 5 months-15 years.
Key Responsibilities:
● Ensure the overall safety and well being of the children.
● Support the physical, social and emotional development needs of the children in creche.
● Plan and implement activities and experiences to promote children’s learning and development.
● Liaise with parents accordingly.
● Advise your line manager of any matters requiring their attention.
● Supervise the children during activities.
● Ensure that the creche is prepared and set out in readiness for each session and a high standard of hygiene is maintained.
● Undertake relevant training, where necessary.
● Any other duties deemed reasonable.
Essential criteria:
Qualifications and Experience:
● Level 3 qualification or equivalent in early years is essential
● A minimum of one year’s supervisory or management experience of working in a childcare setting.
Knowledge:
● An understanding of issues relevant to children and families.
● An understanding of the importance of play and progression.
● An understanding of safeguarding practices.
Abilities:
● Ability to work well within a team.
● Ability to use their own initiative.
Personal Attributes:
● Must be friendly, caring, helpful and flexible.
● Must also possess good listening skills, have patience, understanding and a non-judgmental attitude.
Desirable criteria:
● Pediatric First Aid Qualification
● Music / art / craft skills / sports
