A typical day in the life of a Data Analyst:
Collect, organise, and maintain large sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources including CRM systems, financial records, and customer feedback.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits and cleansing.
Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business decisions.
Create and deliver clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and dashboards using tools such Power BI, Looker studio, SQL or similar.
Custom scripts or automation of data processes and reporting.
Maintain and manage the publishing of reports, sharing and updating dashboards and setting up fresh data schedules.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new analytical tools, and technologies.
Propose and implement improvements to current data collection, storage, and analysis processes.
What we are looking for:
2+ years of experience in a data analysis or similar role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL and Excel.
Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Ability to analyse large and complex data sets to identify key insights and trends.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose data-driven solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to continuously improve and learn.
It would be desirable if you had a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Or an equivalent qualification such as Data Analyst L4. It would be advantageous if you had experience within the health, fitness, or hospitality industry.
